1. Reinado Nacional Del Cafe (National coffee reign): The National Coffee Festival is celebrated every year, since 1960, in Santa Marta, Colombia. Its central events are the yipaos parade, the National Reign of Coffee and several samples.
It is celebrated every year, from 1983, in the framework of the National Coffee Festival, the winner of the pageant represents to Colombia in the International Coffee, held annually during the Fair of Manizales. The candidates contestants represent the different departments and districts of the country.
2. Rockafest: Official Rock Festival in Armenia, Quindío. 37 local groups and national scene. Event Opening Skate Park, with samples of BMX and skaters throughout the day.
According to the organizers of the event, in Armenia there are currently around 70 groups in different sub-genres of Rock, Ska, Reggae, Alternative, Fusion, Metal, Punk, Hard Core, Thrash, Thrash, Thrash Metal, all of which are included in the category of urban tribes, each with its expression and philosophy of life and his own vision of code.
The aim of this project is to benefit around 300 musicians, who have been active on pallets as important as "Rock al Parque" in Bogotá, or have toured Latin America and have even come to countries such as Russia and Norway; which is why it has been thought in this space in the appropriate and effective way of connecting these artists with their audience in order to create a commercial circuit for the time being is non-existent. In the same way, is planned as a contribution and a focal point where the communities mentioned above may be included in the cultural landscape of the city.
3. Yipao De Quindio: It is because of how much it has helped the Willys Jeep in the development of these lands and also to its position as an icon of the coffee culture, which is the super recognized Yipao Parade.
This celebration that has been taking place since 1988 mainly in the cities of Armenia and Calarcá, in Quindío, Colombian Coffee Axis.
4. El Alumbrado De Quimbaya: What makes it special and beautiful lighting of Quimbaya are its spectacular handmade lanterns created by its inhabitants. Each block of the people you need more or less between 120 and 140 lanterns for lighting of good quality and able to be selected as one of the best.
In the latest versions of the lighting have been lit up to 40,000 lanterns.
These amazing lanterns come in many different shapes, sizes, colors and designs. So they adorn this town which welcomes every year more than 20 thousand tourists who come to see the show that with hard work and dedication have made the inhabitants of Quimbaya.
5. Festival de Globos aerostáticos y solares: The event, sponsored by the Mayor's Office of Armenia through the Corporation for Culture and Tourism, Corpocultura. There will be 33 solar balloons to free-flight Coffee Cultural Landscape, built with thermal and bio-degradable elements.
