¿When it was opened to the public?
This amazing site tourist-cultural-Interactive Department of Quindío first opened its doors to the public on 30 March 2006 and since then has helped visitors, domestic and foreign, a better understanding of the charming world of Colombian coffee growing.
¿Where is it located?
The tour through the coffee culture is located (or located) on the Farm The Chapolera, Sidewalk Long Street, District of Barcelona, Calarcá municipality of Quindío. All this is just 18 kilometers from Armenia, capital of the department.
¿How is the climate?
It is located 1300 meters above sea level and its average temperature is 25 degrees Celsius and humidity is always high. It is very common in this area on sunny days in which the temperatures can rise up to 32 degrees Celsius.
It is recommended to use sunscreen and mosquito repellent when visiting the place.
