The National Coffee Park was built with the aim of saving, to revive and preserve the values of The Coffee Culture. The 24 February 1995 was founded this theme park which attempts to pay tribute to the push and strength of the Colombian coffee growers.

The National Coffee Park is a theme park located in Colombia, more exactly to 3 kilometers of Montenegro, a commune in the department of Quindio and just 12 kilometers from Armenia, the capital of this department located in the Eje Cafetero.

¿What is the climate like?

Thanks to the fact that it is located 1300 meters above sea level, the average temperature in this place is about 25 degrees Celsius and humidity is always high.

During the day it is best to use sunscreen, wear comfortable clothes and stay well hydrated due to the sunshine and the temperature tends to rise quite clear days (something very common).

What is there to do?

At the entrance of the park, you will find a superb viewpoint with 22 meters of height which receives the tourists who come to this place with aroma of coffee. From this hilltop location you can see the park and a spectacular view of the department of Quindío.

In this extraordinary park you can see a replica of the Plaza de Bolivar in Armenia as it was in 1928, and the covers of Quindianas 15 houses typical of the Antioquian colonization.
